Meet our Head Boy and Head Girl

Hello, my name is Dylan and I am honoured to be the Head Boy of Strabane Academy for the 2023/2024 academic year. I study Math, Digital Technology and Business. I would describe myself as a leader and decision maker. I am keen to take action on any ideas brought to me by the prefect team in order to benefit the school community and pupil wellbeing. I would like to use my platform as Head Boy to motivate other pupils to take action on things they are passionate about and to encourage and support in their chosen subject areas. 

Hello, my name is Alana and I am extremely honoured to be Head Girl at Strabane Academy. I am presently studying Art and Design, Biology and Maths, and as Head Girl I am striving to promote equality, inclusivity, space for personal growth, and be an inspiring role model to all year groups. I am passionate about advocating for the voices of all pupils, developing a supportive, comfortable, and respectful environment which meets their individual needs, and allows them to reach their full potential at Strabane Academy. I'm keen to represent the school and support all pupils and staff in all areas of school life.

Meet our Deputies 

Hi, my name is Rebecca. I'm delighted to be a deputy head girl for the 2024/2025 academic year. I am currently studying Biology, Chemistry, Math and Physics at A Level. I would describe myself as outgoing and approachable. As a Deputy Head Girl I hope to inspire others to achieve the best that they can but also enjoy their time in school. I feel that it is important that all pupils in school feel like they have a voice within our school community. 

I'm Alex. Being deputy Head Boy is important to me as it allows me to set a good example for younger students. This year I hope to make a positive impact within the school community.

Hi my name is Katie, I am proud to be appointed as Deputy Head Girl. I am committed to representing the student body and making a positive impact on the school community.  I am studying English, RE and History for A-Level and hope to study Law at University. I believe that every student deserves to feel valued and supported. I am passionate to ensure that every pupil at Strabane Academy has a enjoyable experience during their school life. I am  committed to creating a school environment where all students feel safe, included, and empowered to ACHIEVE their full potential.

Hi, my name is Dylan G and I am proud to be Deputy Head Boy at Strabane Academy. I am currently studying Math, Physics, Digital Technology and Business Studies. My goal for this year is to help create a welcoming, supportive environment within our school. I'd like to help promote equality and inclusivity in our school community and ensure every student feels seen and heard. I hope to be a good role model to younger students and a friendly face that students can approach for help.
